Owen & Associates has been providing court reporting  services in Marion County since 1992.  Our reporters, videographers and transcriptionists are familiar with every aspect of criminal and civil reporting both in the State and Federal systems.

Having covered all felony court proceedings from 1992 until 2005 and still covering all death penalty proceedings, we aren’t just any firm.   We have covered thousands of cases from grand jury to trial, providing hundreds of thousands of pages of appellate transcripts for the Fifth District Court of Appeals, as well as the Florida Supreme Court.  We also belong to The Florida Guide, a network of long-established independent court reporting firms that participate in the network by invitation only under the requirement that they enjoy an excellent reputation with their local bench and bar and provide prompt service with quality transcripts at reasonable fees for the community.

What does that mean to you?  It means personnel capable in their own specific responsibilities, but also knowledgeable of local procedures that change, not just county to county, but courtroom to courtroom.  Our reporters are nationally and/or state certified reporters who will cover your litigation from beginning to end…from discovery through to trial and appellate proceedings.  We are members of the National Court Reporters Association, Florida Court Reporters Association, Florida Legal Secretaries Association and Marion County Legal Support Association.

Location, Location, Location.  Owen & Associates offices are located in the historical Marion Sovereign building, across the street from the Marion County Judicial Center and the Golden-Collum Federal Courthouse in Ocala.  Our offices have five conference rooms, one which can seat up to 20 people with videoconferencing.  These offices are available for depositions, arbitration hearings, mediation, and out-of-town client interviews.

When in the Ocala/Marion County area, don’t call anyone else…you don’t need to.
